About the wpfaq.org website

I started to build this website in the summer of 2009 after finding out that there are some things people want to be able to do when building their website but there are very few websites actually explaining them in a comprehensible way how to achieve them. Since then the number of discussed topics on the website and the number of visitors keep increasing.

WPFAQ.org doesn’t go out to the professional Web-Developers but it goes out to every day users like me just wanting to build a website. I myself don’t know much about codes and stuff but there are people knowing less and those are the people I’d like to help here.

On September 25th 2010 I published an E-Book (.pdf) in which I re-wrote most of the FAQs making them more detailed, cleaner, easier to read and to understand. It’s a desktop reference guide which in addition to what you find on the website also includes some tutorials which are not on the website:

If you’re looking for a good hosting I would really recommend you to use HostExcellence since I’m using it for my own websites. I think that’s already a pretty good reason. I know that it’s working great and that their customer support is great too. They are definitely on the good side of the jungle. Also I think it’s really easy to use.
